I was translating random bits pertaining to Cheshire and accidentally did an entire chapter because it was just that epic. THERE ARE PROBABLY A LOT OF ERRORS corrections are love ♥

In this chapter we learn Cheshire is absolutely useless against shielding off mindfuck, Vincent is crazy, Alice is crazy, Kevin is crazy, the dolls are crazy, and you know what who isn't crazy.

( Needless to say, spoilers. )

Age: over a hundred years old, but appears as a teenaged boy (officially listed as "unknown", but)
Height: 173 cm / 5'8"ish ( ... not that he ever stands up straight)
Weight: probably pretty light lol chain lol cat -- he also doesn't need to eat
Medical Info: isn't human, if that much weren't apparent already. Cheshire is a Chain -- described as "weapons born from the Abyss". idk. Very not human. Otherwise he's very catlike and carries himself as such, and he has cat ears/tail/claws/teeth as well. Doesn't age because lol Chain
Eye: he doesn't have a right eye, so it'll be perpetually covered by his hair. The left is red and has a normal round pupil. And if you notice these things, you may notice his eye looks like a certain clown's.
Hair: very messy, like it's never been brushed -- a very dark red/maroon that can be mistaken for black.
Physical traits: picture one / picture two ; could pass as human if not for the ears, tail, and the big-ass claws.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: please don't fourth wall him, thank you.
Abilities: has leveled up his speed, strength, and jumping skills, which means he can deal a lot of damage fast. Catch! His only method of attacking, really, is with his giant claws -- he's also not uncatchable, so it's possible to out-race him. He also regenerates from pretty much all attacks unless they have certain ~special properties~ and can also teleport himself / other people! Cheshire also can identify people's identities and species (human / nonhuman / demonic / Chain /etc), and he has a built-in power radar that gives him a rough idea of how powerful you are.
Notes for the Psychics: Aliiiiiice Aliiiiiiice Aliiiiiiiiiiiiice HE THINKS ABOUT HER A LOT and thinks about his DUTY and protecting her memories forever and the Will of the Abyss and about Camp and things / prey to mess around with etc. it pings as very cat-like, lonely, and dark. if you tread too deep you will be engulfed in Mochizuki-class crazy and spoilers. if you want to tread into spoilers plz tell me first.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: ask for things like the first two, but for the other two, go ahead
Maim/Murder/Death: ask me first. I have no huge objection to it but he might have ISSUES with that.
Cooking: technically doesn't need to eat! Not that it stops the hunt :3

Canon: There are plenty of things that you might wish for on your fifteenth birthday, but a trip to hell probably isn't one of them. Oz Vesalius, the unlucky birthday boy, is the winner of the trip to "hell" (aptly called the Abyss) and meets a young girl called Alice. Agreeing to help her locate her lost memories, they use her powers to escape from the Abyss and return to the normal world. But it's not as simple as it seems when everything is littered with deception, secrets, and a steady stream of Alice in Wonderland references, making one saying ring true—"We're all mad here."

The Cheshire Cat, or Cheshire for short, is an odd character whom they find protecting the wishes of his previous owner. Cheshire usually speaks in third person and with very little expression in his face, even when his language tips toward the vulgar side. He is very set in his ways and rarely ruffled, but sometimes lets his cat instincts get the best of him when he gets into things. Despite his human appearance, Cheshire has quite a few feline habits, which is only natural seeing how he's a cat at heart. He enjoys playing with his prey, eating birds, and generally being on top of things. When you're a cat, the world is simple: pride trumps all, and knowledge is optional.

This place is boring, and Cheshire hasn't even been here very long. The welcomers weren't any good, not at all. Whoever picked them didn't have good taste, and must be pretty stupid. Who would choose purple monkeys for a job like that? And you don't teach anyone that grabbing someone is the way to pet an animal. Not like Cheshire would go near those filthy monkeys anyways. They were just annoying, too noisy and kept getting too close, so Cheshire cut them them till they couldn't move. But more kept coming from behind, swarming like rats. They might as well have been, with how many there were.

It took them awhile before they finally got a little scared and started to run, but that was fine since by then Cheshire wanted to play a little anyway. They just didn't last that long—they were stupid and slow, and it was easy to get most of them. Even if they weren't all dead, the bastards should've lasted a little longer, for all the trouble they put me through. Cheshire didn't want to come here at all, and the toys they offered don't change a single thing. They weren't even the kinds of toys for cats, but that's not surprising. How would a monkey know how a cat likes to play around?

After that there was just a mess, and Cheshire didn't have any business there anymore. There's something different about this space, and I couldn't leave where I entered. Everything about this place is annoying, and whatever that comes after another thing is slower than the rest. Cheshire just saw dead people, though they don't even notice until you knock them down. But they get right back up, since they're already dead. Doing that got boring too after awhile; they don't even make a different sound. The monkeys sounded different depending on how you cut them, but these just moan no matter what. Doesn't look like they could be used for anything if they can't talk, which is too bad. Maybe Cheshire could've used them to get out, but not if they're like this. Maybe using the monkeys would be better, there's probably more. Live ones, if dead monkeys are like these dead humans.

Hmmm~ It's another stupid one; it came right up to Cheshire. Just as noisy, too. Maybe if Cheshire cut off the mouth first... Oh, it got scared already. Maybe a little smarter if it's offering food. To make me leave them alone? It's green. But Cheshire isn't interested in human food, stupid monkey. Try harder; you should've been more prepared. Cheshire might consider using only one of you if you can bring something good.

Only a little fish? That's not enough. But, with that, a few more toucans are fine too.
